RESCUE MISSION OF THE MAHONING VALLEY
IS ALL ABOUT TRANSFORMING LIVES
The shelter exists in Youngstown, Ohio to help anyone who needs Food, Shelter, Safety and a Second Chance.
The people we serve in our emergency shelter come from all walks of life and all economic backgrounds. In the last ten years, we’ve served over 1,300,000 meals to those in need. But this is just the beginning of our work. We offer not just help for today, but hope for tomorrow.
We house, feed, counsel and educate hundreds each year through our residential programs, enabling them to get back on their feet and become productive again. We help people to improve their lives and ultimately, our community.
IS ALL ABOUT TRANSFORMING LIVES
- Food – Three full meals every day served to our clients and breakfast and dinner to the public
- Shelter – Short-term emergency overnight shelter for singles, married couples, and full families
- Safety – A secure alternative to life on the street
- Serving Our Valley In Jesus’ Name Since 1893 – Through education, counseling, compassion, prayer, access to local resources and the Love of Christ
