2026 SockTober

Imagine not having the basics. No underwear, undershirts or bras. It is the reality for many of those who come to the doors of Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley seeking emergency overnight shelter. You can help!

Each October we celebrate SOCKtober and lots of churches, businesses, and individuals host collection drives for new underwear, undershirts, and bras for our guests. If you’d like to host a collection, we provide the signage and a laundry basket to display. Just let us know!
