About our positions:

CLIENT ADVISORS: Some of the tasks include, welcoming our new guests and conducting intake interviews. You’ll be trained to work in our office to answer clients’ questions, monitor our dayrooms, update our computer logs,  and help meet our guests needs by providing clothing, hygiene items and other necessities as requested. You’ll develop relationships, use your gifts to serve others and grow in your faith. Most importantly, you will get to serve the Lord and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our guests. No prior experience is needed. We will train you!

COOKS: Some of the tasks include, cooking meals for 100 or more people, serving meals, cleaning up and food prep. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the year and we have three seatings in our dining hall for each meal every day.

CHIEF PROGRAM OFFICER: Will oversee, direct, and coordinate the programs in Women and Families,
Men’s and Food Service Departments reporting directly to the President/CEO. This person will support, mentor, and coach the Directors of each of the departments by being engaged and
staying abreast of departmental needs. The Chief Program Officer works to ensure sound fiscal
management of each department and continually strives to improve and promote quality operations.
As a leader and representative of the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, candidate will have a passion for the Mission with a commitment to being a disciple of God’s Word along with
having demonstrated a strong record of faithful service to the Lord Jesus Christ.

MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR: Looking for just the right person to fill this unique full or part-time position. This person will help to maintain the safety of our building by keeping things in working order. If you love the Lord, are handy, and would enjoy spending your days working in Christian Ministry… this could be for you!
