From Our CEO

Dear Friends,

As we have celebrated our 131st year in 2024, I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your
unwavering partnership with the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley. It is my pleasure to share this
annual impact report and express how deeply we appreciate your support. You are a blessing to our
Board of Directors, our dedicated staff, and most importantly, our guests.

Every day, we witness the grace and provision of God in the lives of those who seek our help. Your
faithfulness to the Lord, demonstrated through your generosity, enables us to offer hope and healing to
those in dire need at the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley.

Here are some of the ways your contributions have made a difference in fiscal year 2024:

• 23,736 meals and 58,308 nights of shelter were provided to 1,198 men, women, and children in need of a safe place to stay. Your support helped them overcome hunger and homelessness, giving them a chance to start anew.

• Our 42 compassionate staff members were able to serve our guests with love and care. Thanks to
your partnership, our team and volunteers offered guidance, counseling, prayer, and
encouragement to those facing hunger, homelessness, and other challenges.

• You answered the Lord’s call by joining our 685 individual volunteers and 52 groups, donating 7,597
hours of your time and talents to assist our staff and guests. Your kindness and generosity brought
comfort to those who often felt forgotten or rejected. Thank you.

• Your donations totaling $3,359,359 met not only the physical needs of our guests but also their spiritual needs. God worked through you to touch the hearts of the broken and restore their dignity and purpose. He is transforming lives, and you are playing a vital role in His work. We sincerely thank you and pray you will partner with us again in the upcoming year!

Thank you again and may you be blessed!

In His service,
