The first Mahoning Valley Coffee Trail event held by Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley launched on National Coffee Day (September 29, 2022) to great enthusiasm! All 500 Trail Guides were sold out in under one hour. Those who gave a donation for the trail guide will now be treated to a free coffee from sixteen local coffee shops. Those who complete the entire trail in six weeks, collecting each stores code, have the opportunity to mail their guide back to the Mission to be entered in the grand prize drawing. Special thanks to Alex George from WKBN for being our Coffee Ambassador and to all of the shops who have each donated 500 cups of coffee! The Mission was blessed with nearly $10,000 in donations from this event and we are so excited about the great new donors we have met and the relationships with the local shops that are happening.
