Beginning Wednesday, July 13th, join the Mission’s President/CEO, John Muckridge for a verse-by-verse study of the book of Revelation. Open to everyone, there is plenty of free parking in front of the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley. Join us each Wednesday, beginning July 13, 2022 at 6:00pm for a forty-five minute time of study.

Current Study will be the book of Revelation

Purpose of the Book of Revelation:  To encourage believers throughout the time between Jesus’ ascension and 2nd coming to walk in obedience to His Word and to expect persecution.  The book provides hope in the midst of persecution by informing it’s readers that in the end Jesus will return and reign forever in the new heavens and new earth. Revelation is a book about God’s work of judgment and redemption through Christ which will lead to the renewal of all things.  It calls us to live in obedience to His Will and Word as we wait in anticipation of His Return and the Consummation of His Eternal Kingdom.

John Muckridge III, Rescue Mission President/CEO shared, “In the Bible, a “valley” is often a place where judgment would fall, battles would rage, and death reigned supreme.  The Bible also teaches that it is in the “valley” where the Lord would use His Word to bring mercy, peace, and life.  The purpose of The Valley Bible Study is to offer those of us who call the Mahoning Valley home, and aren’t plugged into a healthy Bible teaching church, a place to study the Word of God and find the mercy, peace, and life we need to carry us through the valleys we find ourselves in.”
