Youngstown, Ohio… The Mahoning Valley Coffee Trail, now in its third year, continues to captivate coffee enthusiasts across the region. This year, the trail guides sold out in record time, again with all 750 guides purchased in under 72 hours.

The Mahoning Valley Coffee Trail, a fundraiser for the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, features 23 local coffee shops, each offering a complimentary coffee item to trail guide holders. The guides, priced at $25 each, were available exclusively online at the Mission’s website and are valid until November 27th, 2024. Participants who visit every shop and collect codes can enter a grand prize drawing, which includes three prize packs with a total value of over $900.

Lynn Wyant, Chief Development Officer at the Rescue Mission, shared, “The Mahoning Valley Coffee Trail is a fantastic way to explore our local coffee scene while supporting the Rescue Mission’s efforts to provide shelter, food, and services to those in need. We are incredibly grateful for the community’s support and enthusiasm. This is a win all the way around. The shops are pleased with the traffic the coffee trail generates in their stores, our participants get to sample great coffee all over the Valley and have a chance to make a difference at the Mission with their donation and the Rescue Mission can host this event with zero overhead because everything is donated! It’s amazing that $25,750 was raised in such a short amount of time and goes straight to our programming.”
