5 Reasons to Give to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley on Giving Tuesday

If you are looking for a worthy cause to support on Giving Tuesday, we invite you to consider the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley. Here are five reasons why we think you should consider a gift to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.

  1. You’ll feed hungry people in the Mahoning Valley. Last year, with your help, we served 105,125 meals in our dining hall and are on track to feed even more in 2024!

Heads up! This one-minute update contains a really BIG THANK YOU!

The Lord continues to provide for Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley through the loving support of our donors. When the storm hit Ken needed help

Meet Ken: A Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley supporter with a Big Heart

Ken was born in downtown Youngstown near West Federal Street in the 1930’s. One of ten brothers who grew up during the Great Depression and World War II, life was not easy for him in the Valley. Second time around at the Mission. Meet Bunni.

“Bunni” 64

Bunni came to the Rescue Mission 8 months ago after his family had to sell a home he was supposed to inherit. Bunni had nowhere to go and heard about the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley through an agency. Shortly after coming to the mission Bunni was able to find an apartment. However, after he moved in, Bunni realized the apartment was unlivable and had to return to the Rescue Mission.
